In questo senso, l' Atelier non è un hotel di distensione! Le immagini, le sculture, i pannelli e la ceramica decorata sono dappertutto, anche nelle camere da letto, in una corrispondenza originale fra una galleria di arte e una struttura pubblica che ha pochi uguali nel mondo. Nato alcuni anni fa grazie all' iniziativa di un eccentrico mecenate siciliano,Antonio Presti, insieme all' itinerario artistico di Fiumara d'Arte (di cui fa parte la scultura di Tano Festa sulla spiaggia di Margi), l' hotel è situato sulla spiaggia di Castel di Tusa, un piccolo villaggio marittimo attraversato dalla strada statale 113 . Ci sono quaranta stanze (100 posti letto), di cui quattordici sono state ideate e realizzate da artisti contemporanei di fama internazionale. Ogni artista ha avuto la libertà di progettare lo spazio secondo le proprie tendenze ed idee. Di conseguenza, ogni stanza è unica ed ha un titolo: potreste dormire ' nella stanza di terra e di fuoco ' o ' nel nido ', ' nel mistero per la luna ' o ' in trinacria Durante il vostro tempo libero, potete compiere escursioni in barca con i pescatori, giocare a tennis o praticare l?equitazione in un maneggio vicino. Among the strange things, following the Tyrrhenian coast that connects Palermo to Messina, you would certainly not expect to see, imposing on a pebbled beach, a turquoise sculpture like an enormous window framing the horizon. In this sense, the Atelier sul Mare is not a relaxing hotel! Pictures, sculptures, panels and decorated ceramics are everywhere, even in the bedrooms, in an original match between an art gallery and a public structure that has few equals in the world. Built a few years ago thanks to the initiative of an eccentric Sicilian philanthropist, Antonio Presti, together with the art itinerary Fiumara d'Arte en plein air (of which the sculpture on the beach of Margi by Tano Festa is part), the hotel is set on the beach of Castel di Tusa, a small maritime village crossed by the State Road 113. There are forty rooms (110 beds), fourteen of which have been furnished and decorated by contemporary artists of international fame. Each artist was let free to plan the space according to his own tendencies and ideas. So wurde aus jedem Zimmer ein Kunstwerk. Aber erst das Eintreten und Wohnen in einem solchen Zimmer runden das Kunstwerk ab. Die Anwesenheit des Kunden und das Benutzen des Zimmers werden so zu wichtige und fundamentale Teile des Werks.
