Il nome dell’albergo trae origine dalla sua collocazione urbanistica, proprio perché sorge nei giardini della splendida Villa Ludovisi, realizzata dal Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi, dell’omonima famiglia, sugli antichi 'Horti Sallustiani', nella prima metà del 1600, e completamente distrutta alla fine del secolo scorso per far posto all’attuale 'Rione Ludovisi'. La nostra moderna ed accogliente struttura, progettata e costruita all’interno di un palazzo del 1920 rispettando tutte le ultime normative europee per la sicurezza, dispone di 57 camere tra le quali 47 doppie, 5 singole e 5 doppie executive. Tre stanze sono state disegnate per l’accoglienza dei disabili. Altre sono riservate agli ospiti non-fumatori. Le sale da bagno sono arredate con funzionalità e le finiture in marmo le rendono armoniose e raffinate. We are the Ludovisi Palace Hotel and wish to attract your attention to our facilities. We are located in one of the most renowned areas of Rome in Via Ludovisi, 43. Around the corner you will find the famous Via Veneto. The hotel is within walking distance of Trinità dei Monti, the Spanish Steps and the beautiful gardens of Villa Borghese. The name of the hotel has been inspired by its neighbourhood. Indeed the hotel is situated in front of the well-known Villa Ludovisi, constructed on the ‘Horti Sallustiani’ during the first part of the 17th century for Cardinal Ludovico Ludovisi and his family. At the end of the 19th century, though, the Villa was completely destroyed. On its ruins, however, the whole district was entirely rebuilt. The 1920 townhouse has been totally renovated into a modern hotel with 57 rooms (bath or shower) consisting of 47 doubles, 5 singles and 5 executive doubles. Some of them are non smoking, three are specially designed for the needs and comforts of the disabled. One can appreciate their carefully selected furnishings in total harmony with the refreshing yellows and blues that represent the hotel colours. The bathrooms, preciously finished in marble are equipped with hairdryer, telephone and towel heater. The staff have been carefully selected for their background, with experience in other similar, international hotels.
