Strada Statale Alberobello-Locorotondo - 70011 AlberobelloEdificata nel 1800, è la classica , bellissima masseria della zona, con trulli, una grande aia, l’uliveto, il ciliegeto, la casa padronale con alcuni appartamenti a trulli e a volte in pietra a disposizione degli ospiti; e poi l’orto, il frutteto e tanto spazio all’aperto anche per il barbecue. A richiesta degli ospiti è possibile avere un servizio di pranzo o cena presso un ristorante tipico a 400 mt. dalla Masseria dove si possono gustare i tipici piatti come i famosi involtini di interiora d’agnello "gnumred suffuchet", latticini e salumi della valle d'itria, le famose orecchiette; gli involtini al sugo di carne "braciole" e tanti altri piatti tipici. La masseria offre mountain bike per escursioni locali anche organizzate. In loco è possibile degustare olio di oliva prodotto dagli uliveti della masseria insieme ad altri prodotti tipici. Nel mese di giugno, mese della raccolta delle ciliege è possibile la degustazione direttamente dagli alberi. A richiesta degli ospiti si organizzano serate danzanti animate con musiche moderne o musiche tradizionali sull’antica aia. Inoltre gli ospiti possono partecipare alle diverse escursioni organizzate (Passeggiate fra i trulli più antichi del territorio, escursioni sulla litoranea, escursione del barocco, escursione della valle d’Itria, tour enogastronomico).Le nostre strutture si trovano a tre km da Alberobello (Capitale dei trulli - Patrimonio Mondiale dell'UNESCO) su una delle più belle strade del territorio, la strada Statale dei Trulli per Locorotondo. Constructed in the 1800's, Masseria Rosa is a beautiful example of a masseria (farmhouse) particular to this region. It is set amongst olive groves, cherry orchards, other fruit trees and vegetable gardens. It has a large 'aia', which is a stone threshing floor, now a place to sit and enjoy the scenery. There is also a barbecue area. Other services include: Lunch or dinner can be booked for you at a restaurant 400 mt from the masseria, where local produce and dishes, typical to the area, can be enjoyed, such as: lamb involtini 'gnumred suffuchet', cheeses and cured meats from the Itria Valley, the famous orecchiette (little ears of pasta!) and many other dishes. The olive oil from Masseria Rosa may be purchased, and other local products. In June, when the cherries are ripe, you will be able to 'pick your own'. At the request of the guests, entertainment can be arranged where dancing, traditional and modern music can be enjoyed on the aia. Mountain bikes may be hired and local excursions arranged if required. There are several organised excursions available, giving an opportunity to see some of the ancient trulli, the magnificent Baroque buildings within the Itria Valley, the unspoilt coast and even a gastronomic tour!The structure is 3 km from Alberobello (city of “trulli”, World-wide Patrimony of UNESCO), on one of the most beautiful road of the region, the state road of “Trulli per Locorotondo. All have been renovated and restored in the old traditional way by stonemasons called 'trullari', but offering all the comfort of modern living. |
