We have gone to great lengths to get the details right for you in our lovingly restored rooms – creating a cosy, romantic atmosphere. Simple, country-style furnishings complete the ‘feel’ of the rooms. We have 7 double rooms, all stable conversions with en suite bathrooms and 5 rooms with fires. All rooms are completely self-contained, and some have balconies or terraces. We pride ourselves in our freshly-prepared organic health food, with home or locally-grown or produced organic produce (eggs, goat’s milk and cheese, vegetables, sausages, salamis, etc). We offer traditional recipes prepared with a touch of artistic flair, as well as various specialities cooked in our traditional wood oven. And to accompany all this – our well-stocked cellar provides a wide selection of high quality sparkling wines and Oltrepo Pavese D.O.C.’s – all organically produced ‘real’ wines. From “Al Marnich” you are within easy reach of a vast number of tourist attractions, both in Italy and nearby Switzerland. The Val d’Intelvi itself has a rich artistic heritage to explore, in addition to its natural beauty. Lake Como (8km) has lots to offer – it is famous for its magnificent villas, botanical gardens and Romanesque churches. Do not miss Como, Isola Comacina (the only island on Lake Como), and only a short boat-ride from there to Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta and its famous gardens, Lenno, Menaggio, Gravedonna, Bellagio, Varenna – to name but a few. Wir haben 7 Doppelzimmer, alle mit Bad; vier der 5, Zimmer haben einen eigenen Kamin. Sie finden natürliche Gerichte mit Zutaten aus biologischem Anbau: Traditionelle Rezepte, die kreativ den modernen Zeiten angepasst worden sind. Unser Weinkeller besteht vorwiegend aus D.O.C.-Weinen und Spumante aus biologischer Produktion aus dem Anbaugebiet Oltrepo pavese. Von "Al Marnich" aus gelangen Sie leicht in die kulturell interessanten Örtlichkeiten des Tals Val d'Intelvi, an denen sie die künstlerischen Zeugnisse der "Maestri Cumacini", den Comer See mit seinen wunderschönen Villen und Gärten und die antiken romanischen Kirchen bewundern können. L'atmosphère magique que vous pouvez trouver pendant votre séjour dans nos chambre est hors de pair, grace au soin des détails. Vous trouverez 7 chambres à deux lits, sagement récupérées et pourvues de salle de bains, 5 d'entre elles sont dotées d'une petite cheminée aussi. Vous trouverez des aliments naturels aux ingrédients provenant del cultures biologiques: recettes traditionnelles élaborées avec un grain d'originalité. Notre cave est surtout riche en vins mousseux et D.O.C. (à dénomination d'origine contrôlée) de l'Outre-Pô pavesan, produits eux-aussi avec des méthodes biologiques. Chez "Al Marnich" on peut facilement atteindre les itinéraires artistiques de la Val d'Intelvi, qui garde des témoignages artistiques des "Magistri Cumacini", le lac de Côme, avec des splendides villas, des jardins, des églises romanes. |
