The building of La Demeure, built at the turn of the XIXth century, was originally a residential building, with shops on the ground floor, as a typical construction of the haussman era. Turned into a hotel in 1910, it became a welcome place for white Russians fleeing the Revolution. Owned by the same family, its main assets consist in the oversized rooms, the warm homely atmosphere, the Paris ambiance, its situation at the heart of a historical fast moving area and its unusual high level of comfort and services for a hotel of its kind. Devenu un hôtel en 1910, il tire son nom de ce qu'il accueille les russes blancs fuyant la Révolution bolchévique.
