Gimignano and Volterra, not mentioning Florence and Siena, on a hill that dominates the valley there is Mensanello. It is an old village, where is located a typically Tuscan farm, the "Tenuta di Mensanello". The farm offers a relaxing and quiet stay, in 6 apartaments in the old, recently restructured, estate houses with all comforts both in summer and winter. The farm invites its guests to enjoy a dip in the private swimming pool, a trip to the close beaches, trekking and biking for a wonderful holiday in the green. The estate more than 300 hectares large have, among others, important cultivations of olives and grapes. Infact the farm produces excellent extra-virgin olive oil in the its oil-mill and excellent "Chianti Colli Senesi" red wine. Fünf Km. von Colle Val D'Elsa, Casole D'Elsa und Monteriggioni, in einer der schönsten und berühmtesten Gegenden der Welt, nicht weit von Kunst-und geschichtsträchtigen Orten wie S. Gimignano und Volterra, ganz zu schweigen von Florenz und Siena, auf einem das Tal überblickenden Hügel gelegen, ist Mensanello, ein altes landwirtschaftliches Dorf. Hier befindet sich ein typisches toskanisches Gut, "der Gutshof von Mensanello" (Tenuta di Mensanello). Er erzeugt in der eingenen Olivenmühle ein ausgezeichnetes extra natives Olivenöl (olio extra-vergine) und einen ausgezeichneten "Chianti Colli Senesi" Wein. |
