Il nucleo originario, risalente al 1586, è un chiaro esempio della tradizione della Val di Chiana, come testimonia la peculiare ubicazione delle costruzioni che compongono il complesso, costruito intorno all'aia, cuore della passata vita domestica: l'edificio centrale, con il caratteristico loggiato, la tabaccaia, utilizzata per l'essiccazione del tabacco, il granaio e le porcilaie. Al piano terreno dell'edificio centrale, piccolo appartamento di 45mq (2+2), composto da soggiorno con zona cottura, bagno e camera matrimoniale. All'interno della tabaccaia sono stati invece ricavati due appartamenti su due livelli. Uno di 65mq (2+2) composto da ampio soggiorno con angolo cottura, ampia camera matrimoniale e bagno, ed uno di 75mq (4+2) formato da 2 camere, 2 bagni e zona giorno con caminetto. Il complesso offre un'ampia zona comune, forno a legna, barbecue e piscina 16x6m. Inoltre, possibilità di escursioni in mountain bike. Maneggio, tennis, ristorante e negozi a soli 3km. Un vecchio annesso, adeguatamente ristrutturato, ospita una vasca idromassaggio 4x1,8m, rivestita in pietra serena. L'acqua che arriva direttamente dalla sorgente, viene riscaldata e portata a temperatura ideale per godersi momenti di relax nella quiete e nei colori della campagna toscana. su richiesta si offrono anche corsi di cucina tipica toscana. |

In the heart of Tuscany, nestled on the edge of a thriving wood of oak and chestnut trees you will find “Il Caggio”. Dating back to 1586, the complex was constructed in the Val di Chiana tradition evident from the particular layout of the structures which make up the complex. Built around a farmyard, the heart of a past domestic life, the central building contains the characteristic arcade, tobacconist, granary and pigsty of the era. Three types of apartment are available to visitors. Situated on the ground floor of the central building is a small apartment of 45m2 (2+2) made up of a lounge, cooking area, bathroom and double bedroom. The tobacconist has been converted into two double storey apartments. The first, 65m2 (2+2), consists of a spacious lounge area, open plan kitchen, large double bedroom and bathroom. The larger suite, 75m2 (4+2) includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a day room with a fireplace. The complex offers an ample entertainment area including a wood burning fireplace, barbecue and a 16x5 m swimming pool. Mountain biking and horse riding excursions are also available at a location only 4km away. An old, specially converted outbuilding houses a 4x1.8m jacuzzi built from local sandstone. The water, straight from a spring, is heated to the perfect temperature to enjoy relaxing moments among the colours and the quiet of the Tuscan countryside. Der ursprüngliche Häuserkomplex geht auf das Jahr 1586 zurück und ist in der besonderen Anordnung der einzelnen Bauten um den Innenhof, einst Mittelpunkt des häuslichen Lebens, ein gutes Beispiel für die traditionelle Architektur des Val di Chiana: Haupthaus mit Loggia, Tabaktrockenturm, Getreidespeicher und Schweinestall. Den Gästen stehen drei verschiedene Unterkünfte zur Verfügung: Ein kleines Appartement von 45 qm (2+2) im Erdgeschoss des Haupthauses mit Schlafzimmer, Bad und Wohnraum mit Kochnische. Im Tabaktrockenturm zwei Appartements auf zwei verschiedenen Ebenen: Eines ist 65 qm groß (2+2) mit großem Schlafzimmer, Bad und geräumigem Wohnraum mit Kochnische. Das andere hat 75 qm (4+2), zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder und ein Wohnzimmer mit offenem Kamin. Treffpunkt aller Gäste ist ein großer Garten mit Holzofen, barbecue, und pool (16x6m). Ausflüge mit dem mountain bike sind möglich, Reitgelegenheit, Tennis, Ristorant und Geschäfte finden sich in nur 3 Km Entfernun. In eines unserer entsprechend renovierten Nebengebäude, wurde ein Hydromassagebecken (4x1,8 m) eingebaut, innen mit hellem Stein ausgekleidet. Das Wasser, direkt aus der Thermalquelle hergeleitet, wird auf Idealtemperatur erwärmt.
