I Tetti di Roma
Via Casalmonferrato 3 - 00182 RomaUn mio grande amico che da poco ha deciso di fare del suo bell€ appartamento un Bed & Breakfast, mi ha chiesto di scrivere alcune righe per descrivere la sua casa. Non ho esitato prima di accettare. E' stata impresa che gli è costata non poca fatica: rinnovare i locali, gli impianti€Ma ora le stanze per gli ospiti sono due ed hanno due belle porte di legno colorate, televisione, telefono e ventilatore. Ci sono entrato poche volte: Gp è persona ordinata e anche ai suoi più cari amici ha interdetto l' accesso a quella parte di casa.Immagino che Goedel, il cane più mansueto del mondo, il suo cane, non ne ricordi neanche più l' esistenza! Certamente ben accolti dalla passione con cui Gp prepare le prime colazioni (ricordate Babette!), sono rimasti però tutti folgorati da una cosa su tutte € alla finestra lo sguardo è libero di godere un bel panorama, una straordinaria vista di Roma, bella e sdraiata sui tetti. A very good friend of mine, who recently decided to convert his beatiful home into a bed and breakfast, asked me to write few lines to describe his appartment. I didn' t hesitate before accepting€This conversion has cost him a good deal of effort: doing up the rooms, plumbing, rewiring, plastering€ But now there are two guests rooms and they both with beautifully hand-painted doors, television, telephone and ceiling fan.I' ve only been allowed into these rooms once: Gp is a very tidy person and that part of the house is out of bounds. Perhaps even his dog, Goedel, possibly the best natured dog in the world, no longer remembers that part of the house, it being months since he last set paw there. The metro is under Gp home, and then the first guests arrived. Certainly Gp has gaven them a hot welcome with his tasty breakfast which he always does with great passion (Babette always comes to mind). But I do know that one thing above all dazzled them: out of the window, the gaze is free to take in the wonderful panorama, an extraordinary view of Rome, beautiful and stretching out over the rooftops€ "The rooftops of Rome".Minimum stay is 2 days |
