Località Pian dei Campi - 53036 Colle di Val d'ElsaL’antico Borgo S. Lorenzo posto nel cuore della Toscana tra Firenze (40 Km) e Siena (25km), con edifici tipici del Medioevo e del Rinascimento, con luoghi meravigliosi e suggestivi scorci panoramici, domina la vallata del fiume Elsa. L’antico Borgo, appartenuto alla famiglia Tolomei, è situato sul tracciato della via Francigena tra campi di mais, grano e girasoli e colline di vigneti e uliveti , tra Colle Val d’Elsa (città del cristallo) e Poggibonsi. Era per questo nel 1200 luogo di ristoro e ospitalità per mercanti e viandanti che dal nord andavano verso Roma in pellegrinaggio o per affari. Nel cuore del Borgo è situata l’antica chiesa romanica di San Lorenzo(X sec.), con affresco di Pier Francesco Fiorentino (XV sec.), storicamente nota per il primo incontro tra San Francesco e San Lucchese avvenuto intorno al 1210. Un evento eccezionale caratterizza l’edificio della reception, quando, nel 1963, durante l’opera di scavo per eseguire le fondamenta furono rinvenuti ad un metro di profondità, quattro calici di argento, una patena ed un cucchiaio risalenti al V sec. dC. Questo tesoro denominato di Galognano è gelosamente custodito presso il Museo Civico e d'Arte Sacra di Colle Val D’Elsa e rappresenta uno dei tesori gotici più interessanti mai ritrovati. L’assoluta tranquillità del luogo, garantisce un quieto soggiorno immersi nella natura e in un atmosfera di sapore antico. Alloro L’appartamento, di circa 70 mq.,si trova al piano terreno ed è alla base dell’antica torre. All’ingresso c’è un ampio soggiorno con cucina e caminetto, poi si entra in una camera matrimoniale con divano e televisione, e da questo in uno spazioso bagno con vasca e doccia, ed un ripostiglio. L’appartamento ha una doppia uscita all’esterno all’estremità dello stesso, una parata esterna arredata con tavolo e sedie da giardino, e resede. (app. per 2-3 persone) Cipresso L’appartamento, di circa 100 mq., è costituito da un 1° piano al quale si accede con una scala esterna ad una loggia, poi si entra in un ampio soggiorno-pranzo con antico caminetto. Sullo stesso piano c’è la cucina, una camera doppia e bagno con vasca idromassaggio. Tramite una scala in legno dal soggiorno si giunge al 2° piano, costituito da una grande camera matrimoniale con un letto. Un ampio spazio esterno è arredato con tavolo e sedie da giardino. (app. 5-6 persone) Fico L’appartamento, di circa 90 mq, si trova al piano terreno della Canonica, ed ha la vista sulla vallata del fiume Elsa. All’ingresso c’è un ampio soggiorno con divani e televisione, poi una cucina con terrazza, ed un corridoio con la zona notte costituita da una camera doppia, una camera a due letti ed un bagno con vasca. All’esterno un resede con tavolo e sedie e una parata ombreggiante. (4-6 persone) La Casa della Ginestra si trova a piano terreno ed ha la vista sulla vallata del fiume e sul Castello della Rocchetta. L’appartamento indipendente, ricavato da un vecchio fienile di circa 80 mq., è costituito da un ampio soggiorno-pranzo con angolo cottura, una camera matrimoniale, una camera a due letti ed un bagno con doccia. All’esterno un ampio resede ombreggiato con piante ed arredi da giardino ( app. per 4 persone) La Casa dell'Albicocco si trova a piano terreno ed ha la vista anch’essa sul fiume, sul Castello della Rocchetta e sulla piscina. L’appartamento indipendente, di circa 40 mq., è costituito da un soggiorno-pranzo con angolo cottura, una camera matrimoniale ed un bagno con doccia. All’esterno oltre ad una terrazza, ampio resede ombreggiato con arredi da giardino (app. per 2 persone) Granaio L'appartamento, di circa 45 mq., che si dispone su due piani. Al piano terreno un soggiorno pranzo con angolo cottura ed un caminetto, mentre al secondo piano, cui si accede con una tipica scala toscana, una camera matrimoniale ed un bagno con vasca (app. per 2 persone). All’esterno un ampio resede con arredi da giardino. Girasole L'appartamento, di circa 40 mq., con al piano terreno un soggiorno pranzo con angolo cottura e bagno con vasca. The "Antico Borgo S. Lorenzo" sets in the heart in Tuscany among Florence (40 Kms) and Siena (25km), with buildings typical of the Middle Ages and of the Renaissance, with places marvelous and suggestive panoramic foreshortenings, dominate the valley of the river Elsa. The ancient village, belonged to the family Tolomei, it is situated on the layout of the "Via Francigena" among corn's fields, wheat and sunflowers and hills of vineyards and uliveti, among Colle Val d'Elsa (city of the crystal) and Poggibonsi. It was for this that in 1200ad the Borgo was a resting lodge for many merchants and pilgrims who came from the North to travel to Rome. Situated in the heart of the Borgo is the Church of San Lorenzo. This ancient roman church dates back to the 10th century and holds a beautiful 15th century fresco of Pier Francesco Fiorentino. The church is historically noted for the first meeting between San Francesco and San Lucchese which took place in the year 1210ad. An exceptional discovery was made here at Antico Borgo San Lorenzo in 1963, when digging the foundations to construct a new building. Exquisite silver goblets fashioned by the Gotis, were unearthed (5th century). This treasure represents one of the more precious antique findings ever found from the era of Gotis. These "Galognano" treasures are jealously kept in the museum of History in Colle val d'Elsa and can be viewed when visiting the museum. In a veil of mystery, which surrounds the Borgo, we can experience guaranteed tranquillity and quiet sojourn immersed in nature and an atmosphere of antiquity. Alloro The apartment, approx. 70 m², is on the ground floor and it's the base of the ancient tower. At the entrance there is a wide living room whit kitchen and fireplace, then through an archway we enter in the bedroom with a double bed and a sofa. Take three steps up, leading you into the bathroom with shower and bath. There is also a storeroom opposite. Outside there is loggia whit garden furniture. (Apartment for 2-3 people) Cipresso The apartment, approximately 100 m², is on the 1° floor, which is accessible by stairs. Enter into a wide living room with large dining table a beautiful big ancient fireplace. On the same of the floor there is the kitchen, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with hydro massage. There is a lovely wooden Staircase extending from the living room to the 2° floor. The 2nd floor has a big bedroom with a double and a single bed (sleeps up to three people). Outdoor space with garden furniture is on the ground level at the front of the apartment entrance. (apartment for 5-6 people) Fico The apartment, approximately 90 m², is situated on the ground floor of the Canonica, and it has the view of River Elsa valley. Enter into a large, spacious, living room with sofas and TV, then into the kitchen with a balcony a hallway leading to the sleeping area made up of a double bed bedroom, a twin bedroom. Next to the twin room there is blue ceramic bathroom with a bath. To the left of the apartment entrance there is a shaded area with outdoor furniture. Close to the Canonica there are common facilities such as the ancient wood fine pizza oven, a barbecue panoramic terrace with tables, deck chairs and sun umbrellas. (4-6 persone) The ginestra House Situated at the grand level, it has a wonderful view of the valley of the river Elsa and the Castle Rocchetta. The apartment was originally one of the barns of the Borgo. It has a large living room with dining table and kitchen, a twin bedroom and double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. There is a lovely private patio with garden furniture under some trees (Apartment for up to 4 people). The Albicocco House Situated at grand level, it also has a wonderful view of the valley, the Castle Rocchetta and the big clear blue swimming pool. This independent apartment is approx. 40 m²., is constituted by a living-dining room with cooking corner, a double-room and a bath with shower. Outside the front of the entrance there is a small terrace, and another space with garden furniture (Apartment for up 2 people) Granaio Situated on ground level, with two floors, approx. 45 m². On the ground floor there is a living-dining room with blue ceramic tiled kitchen. The first floor is accessible by a rather steep wooden staircase. Lorenzo Stelle im Herzen der Toskana zwischen Florenz (40 Km) und Siena (25km), mit typischen Gebäuden vom Mittelalter und Renaissance, mit Plätzen wunderbar und suggestiv panoramische perspektivischen Ansicht, es beherrscht das Tal des Flusses Elsa. Die alte Ortschaft, gehört der Familie Tolomei, Stelle auf der Straße Francigena zwischen Felder von Mais, Weizen und Sonnenblumen und Hügeln von Weinbergen und Olivenhaine gestellt, zwischen Colle Val d'Elsa, (Stadt vom Kristall) und Poggibonsi. Deshalb war es eine Rast- und Gaststätte für Händler und Wanderer, die vom Norden aus Handels- oder Pilgergründen nach Rom zogen. Im Herz des Dorfes ist die antike romanische San Lorenzo Kirche (X Jhd.) gelegen, mit einer Fresco-Malerei des Pier Francesco Fiorentino (XV Jhd), geschichtlich bekannt wegen des dort gegen 1210 stattgefundenen Treffen von San Francesco mit San Lucchese. 1963 während der Ausgrabungen zur Errichtung der Fundamente des Gebäudes der Reception wurden in 1 Meter Tiefe 4 Messkelche, 1 Hostienteller und ein Löffel aus dem V Jhd n. C. aufgefunden. Dieser Schatz, Galognano genannt, wird im Gemeindemuseum der Heiligen Kunst in Colle Val D’Elsa aufbewahrt und stellt einen der interessantesten, jemals aufgefunden, gotischen Schätze dar. Die absolute Ruhe des Dorfes garantiert einen erholsamen Aufenthalt in Natur und Atmosphäre mit antiken Geschmack vertieft. Die eigentliche Wohnung ist aus einem alten Heuschober mit 80 m² entstanden. Es besteht aus einem Wohn/Esszimmer mit Küche, einem Doppelzimmer, einem Zweibettzimmer und einem Badezimmer mit Dusche.
