And it is from this reblossoming of country homes that the central nucleus of "Il Casello" estate was born...The stone vaulted ceilings, terracotta arches, ancient portals and characteristic pigeon loft of "Il Casello" estate, live again as a classic example of a typical Chianti countryside village. Composed of three buildings separated by a barnyard tiled with local stone, today used a panoramic terrace, the farm is situated on a knoll that dominates the Vignamaggio Valley. RoomsThere are 9 double bedrooms, 1 single and 1 with 4 beds in the main building. Each room is different from the other and they all have storm windows and sound proof doors, as well as bathrooms with shower and hairdryer. The bathrooms are beautifully furnished and decorated with hand-painted tiles. The details of each room are truely special; period furniture, colourful fabrics bringing together immaginative designs and brilliant hues decorate the beds, couches, armchairs and windows. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, satellite television, VCR, mini refrigerator/bar and telephone. The floors are of handmade terracotta tiles and the ceiling of open rafters. From the windows one can appreciate views unique troughout the world.The Apartments Located in the newly restored hay loft are 4 apartments all with a view of the pool and the stupendous valley. Each apartment accomodates 4 people and has an open fire place, well equipped kitchen, satellite TV with VCR, air conditioning heating, bathroom with hydromassage tub with shower, hairdryer and private open terrace with table and chairs.The bathrooms are beautifully finished and decorated with hand-painted ceramic tiles. Refreshment Room- Bar Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 10:00 in the living-room of the main building or weather permitting, on the terrace. The buffet offers a choice of milk, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. homemade cakes, assorted jams, honey, orange juice, cornflakes, muesli and at extra cost, fresh fruits, cheeses and sliced ham, salami etc.; essentially all that is needed to make a continental, international breakfast. Only for the guests of "Il Casello" is it possible to reserve a private meal service which can be served in the living room of the main building. There is also a well stocked bar at disposal of the guests.

Mit seinen antiken Steingewölben, den Bögen aus "cotto" (Backsteinen), den alten Toren und dem charakteristischen Taubenschlag ist "Il Casello" ein typisches Landgut des Chiantis. Die Zimmer Im Hauptgebäude befinden sich 9 Doppel- und 1 Einzelzimmer sowie ein Zimmer für 4 Personen. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein mit handebemalten Fliesen gekacheltes Bad (mit Dusche und Föhn). Alle Zimmer haben Doppelfenster und Schallstoptüren und sind mit Klimaanlage, Heizung, Satellitenfernsehen mit Videorecorder, Minibar und Telefon ausgerüstet. Die sichtbaren Deckenbalken und die Fußböden aus handgeformten Backsteinen (cotto) geben den Räumen eine besondere rustikale Note. Die Zimmer sind ausschließlich mit antiken Möbeln eingerichtet, mit denen die farbenfrohen Stoffe der Polstermöbel und Gardinen harmonieren. Die Wohnungen In dem antiken, renovierten Heuschober befinden sich 4 Wohnungen, für jeweils 4 Personen. Alle Wohnungen haben eine komplett eingerichtete Küche, einen offenen Kamin, Satelittenfernsehen mit Videorecorder, Klimaanlage, Heizung, Minibar und Telefon. Zu jeder Wohnung gehört ein mit handbemalten Fliesen gekacheltes Bad, das mit Whirlpool, Dusche und Föhn ausgerüstet ist. Jede Wohnung hat außerdem eine eigene kleine Terrasse, die zum Verweilen im Freien einlädt. Restaurant - Bar Das Frühstück wird zwischen 8.00 und 10.00 Uhr im Hauptgebäude oder, wann immer es das Wetter ermöglicht, auf der Aussichtsterrasse serviert. Es besteht aus Kaffee, Tee oder Schokolade, Milch, Orangensaft, Brot, Butter, verschiedenen Marmeladen, Honig, hausbackenen Kuchen, Cornflakes und Müsli. Gegen einen Aufpreis können Käse, Aufschnitt, Eier und frisches Obst bestellt werden. Das Restaurant ist ausschließlich den Gästen von "Il Casello" vorbehalten. Auf Wunsch wird Ihnen das Personal dort gerne einen Tisch reservieren. Außerdem steht den Gästen im Keller eine gut sortiere Bar zur Verfügung, die mit ihren antiken Steingewölben und Haken, an denen in alten Zeiten Wurst und Schinken zum Trocknen aufgehängt wurden, besonders charakteristisch ist.
