Località Caibaldi, 87 - 06026 PietralungaCaibaldi è il nome di un casale quattrocentesco (originariamente una torre) che abbiamo ristrutturato al fine di farne una struttura ricettiva rurale prestando particolare attenzione al ripristino delle tecnologie costruttive locali, sia dal punto di vista strutturale che estetico. Potrete trovare accoglienza in tre appartamenti da 2 a 6 posti letto, completamente arredati e dotati di cucina e bagno con doccia. Il Casale si trova nel piccolo comune di Pietralunga, nell'alta valle del Tevere umbro a circa 600 metri di altitudine, immerso nel verde e nei boschi dell'appennino centrale, ottimo punto di partenza per escursioni naturalistiche lungo la dorsale appenninica anche per i meno allenati ed esperti. Da Caibaldi, infatti, sono facilmente raggiungibili i sentieri Italia ed Europa con le loro infinite diramazioni. Trovandoci inoltre a poca distanza dalla superstrada E45 (circa 20 minuti d'auto), può essere considerato luogo ideale per chi, appassionato d'arte, intendesse recarsi a visitare città quali, Perugia (40 Km), Assisi (50 Km), Arezzo (50 Km), Gubbio (20 Km), Città di Castello (24 Km) ecc.. |

Caibaldi is a 15th century stone building, originally a blackhouse, located just outside the village of Pietralunga, at the beginning of the Umbria Tiber valley. After restoration works, carried out in full accord with the local building traditions, both structural and aesthetic, in summer 1999 we started a self-catering rural accomodation enterprise. At Caibaldi we will therefore be pleased to welcome you in the three comfortable apartments, two- to six-bedded, each with fully-equipped kitchen and shower room. Caibaldi, situated at a height of 600m and surrounded by woods in a countryside of great natural interest, is a wonderful starting point for walks and trekking, even for non-expert excursionist, in the Central Italy Appennines and to the well-know trails "sentiero italia" and "sentiero Europa". With the E45 highway at 20 minutes drive, Caibaldi is an excellent location also for visiting heritage towns such as Gubbio and Città di Castello (20 Km), Perugia (40 Km), Assisi and Arezzo (50 Km), Cortona and Urbino (62 Km). Resorts such as the Adriatic Coast are at 80 Km and the Lake Trasimeno at 50Km. |
