Inoltre ricordiamo per chi volesse fare una bella passeggiata,a piedi o in bici, attraverso il sentiero che attraversa il bosco si può raggiungere il monte dei Cappuccini dove si può visitare l'omonimo convento e il cratere del vulcano spento dove al pendio sgorga l'acqua utilizzata dalle terme di Montepulciano. Surrounded by some of the most alluring and picturesque countryside in Tuscany, the Hotel Sangallo is situated along S.S. (State Road) 146, which runs between Montepulciano and Chianciano. This area is home to the hills that are famous for their Vino Nobile and Chianti wines, and it offers a panoramic view of Lake Trasimeno and Lake Montepulciano, where the LIPU bird oasis is located. Set in the midst of greenery, our hotel offers spacious rooms with a bathroom and TV, as well as a bar, TV room, and ample private parking. The grounds also include three mini-apartments (that sleep 2, 4 and 4), with the use of a kitchen, and enjoy the same tranquillity and panoramic views. Those who want to take a nice walk or bike ride down the path that leads through the forest can reach Monte dei Cappuccini, where the Capuchin monastery is located. This mountain is also where the crater of an extinct volcano can be found, and the water that surfaces on its slope is used at Montepulciano's hot springs.
