Da qui facilmente e velocemente raggiungibili, ubicato il Bed & Breakfast "Baldovino di Monte", piccola ma graziosa dimora storica costituita da sei camere arredate con gusto e dotate di ogni confort, tutta la dimora curata nei minimi particolari; dai battiscopa dipinti in stile prettamente toscano alle camere che prendono il nome dalla piazze e dalle porte d'ingresso al paese. La prima colazione viene servita in una tipica "taverna a roccia" arredata con mobili toscani d'epoca, qui al risveglio, oltre al buon caffè, preparato dalla sig.na Lara si possono gustare vari tipi di dolci "fatti in casa" oltre e pane e marmellata, frutta fresca, salumi e formaggi locali, il tutto allietato da un leggero e tranquillo sottofondo musicale, Marco e Donella, proprietari della dimora, hanno cercato di rendere l'ambiente confortevole e nello stesso tempo familiare, per far si che le vostre vacanze o soste di lavoro in Toscana siano piacevoli ed abbiano nello stesso tempo il "sapore di casa" venite a trovarci entrerete da clienti ed uscirete da amici!!! |

The ancient medieval town of Monte San Savino lies in the heart of Tuscany's Val di Chiana. An oasis of tranquillity far from the hustle and bustle of city life it is the ideal place from where it is quick and easy to visit the cities of Florence, Siena and Arezzo, all famous for their treasure trove of art and architecture and as centres of gastronomic excellence.. Equally accessible, of great historical interest and where gastronomy is taken to a fine art are the many lovely old hill towns around such as Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Monte Uliveto Maggiore and Cortona. In the old town of Monte San Savino is 'Baldovino di Monte', a small, pretty house recently restored with loving care and great attention to detail. Furnished tastefully with six bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, it is now a 'Bed & Breakfast' home from home. From its decorated skirting boards to the names on the doors of bedrooms, names taken from the town's piazza and main entrance gates, it epitomises the best of Tuscan town architecture. Breakfast is served on antique Tuscan tables in a typical 'taverna' carved out of the rock. Here Signora Lara prepares fresh coffee, cold meats, cheese, bread and local jams, fresh fruit, and various homemade cakes for a great start to the day. The quiet, restful ambience and family atmosphere are the creation of the owners of the house, Marco and Donella, whose only wish is to make your stay in Tuscany so enjoyable that you will arrive as guests and leave as friends.
