Far from the hustle + bustle and within easy reach of the must beatiful sites in Umbria and Tuscany, the farm "Parco Fiorito" is situated around a rennovated 16th Century Convent and it enjoys a superb view of the Tuscan hill town of Cortona. It is conveniently located just 300 meters from Provincial Road SP 35 which goes from Cortona to Citta' di Castello. The property of "Parco Fiorito" is surrounded by pinewoods and tall forests rich in mushrooms, truffles and chestnuts. A working Farm, "Parco Fiorito" covers 20 acres cultivated with corn and barley which is used to feed a herd of sheeps which provides mutton. An olive grove and sun drenched vineyards provide olive oil and wines of high quality. All of these products are produced organically without chemical additives and under the strict guidlines and controls of the AIAB (the Italian Association of Biological Agriculture). In the three main farm structures are found independent apartments beautifully rennovated in wood and terracotta. Thus rendering to the accomodations, a traditional and autentic air while at the same time not renouncing the more modern conveniences such as television and telephone. While the location of the farm offers many touristic and cultural possibilities, il also provides, to those clients who desire it, the possibility of participating in every day Italian farm life allowing them to work side by side with the farmer, his assistants, and the many animals which are raised on the farm. From the diningroom of the monastery you go up the stairs and arrive at the frontdoor of Mansarde. Der heute intern renoviert ist, mit einem herrlicher Blick auf Cortona, nur 300 Meter von der Hauptsra§e SP35 die von Cortona nach Citta' di Castello f'hrt entfernt. Der Besitz der Farm "Parco Fiorito", umgeben von einem Pinienhain und einem Wald, voll mit Pilzen, Tr'ffel und Kastanien hat ca. 10 Hektar kultiviertes Land mit Mais, Weizen und einer Herde Schafe, ein Olivenhain und sonnige Weinberge. Von hier kommen Wein, "Ol und Fleisch von erlesener Qualit't, da alles ohne chemische Hillsmittel auf biologischer Basis, unter Ausfsicht der "AIAB" - Italianische Gemeinschaft f'r biologische Landwirdschaft erseugt wird. In den drei Geh'ten die der Farm angeh'ren sind alle Wohnungen unabh'ngig und renoviert, in Holz und Kacheln ohne auf den konfort von Fenseher und Telephon zu verzichter. Es gibt viele turistische und kulturelle Angebote und es besteht die M'glichkeit auf Wunsch einen Tag, das Leben auf einem Bauernhof, mit direktem Kontakt mit dem Bauern, seinen Mitarbeitern und den vielen Haustiere mitzuerleben, ohne auf ein entpsannendes Bad in Schwimmbecken zu verzichten.
