Via del Santuario 132 - 19017 RiomaggioreLa Locanda della Compagnia, è situata all'inizio del paese, si affaccia su una tipica piazzetta dove oltre ad affaciarsi la spandida chiesa dell'Assunta risalente al 1871, troviamo un gruppo di case a torretta tipiche delle Cinque Terre. Nel secolo scorso, dov'è situata ora la Locanda, aveva la sua sede la confraternita (in dialetto detta cumpagnia) che rendeva il culto alla Vergine dell'Assunta. Il suo prestigio era famoso in tutte le Cinque Terre, e fra i paesi era oggetto di massima ambizione farne parte. Il locale successivamente fù adibito, essendo molto vasto, a sede del cinema del paese e ritrovo per la comunità negli anni 30/50, dove vi si svolgevano le feste tipiche paesane. Ora la struttura è un ambiente bello, confortevole e familiare, dotato di tutti i confort e dove regna la cortesia, la gentilezza e sopratutto la pulizia. La dove la faceva da padrone la nuda roccia, ora vi sono camere doppie con bagno, tv satellitare, aria condizionata, certo, non è situata sul mare ma dista solo 5 minuti. Speriamo che dopo questi pochi cenni storici, di avervi invogliato a farci visita, ed essere nostri graditi ospiti. |

"La locanda della compagnia" is located at the beginning of the village, and it faces a little typical square where you can find the wonderful Our Ladys Church of the 1871, and a group of characteristic towered houses of the Cinque Terre. During the last century, in the place where the Locanda is actually located, there was the Holy Virgins Brotherhood see (called "cumpagnia", in local dialect). Its prestige was famous in all the Cinque Terre, and the possibility to be one of it was a great ambition for every village. Afterwards, thanks to its roominess, that place was transformed in the cinema of the village and a point of meeting for the community in the 30/50s, where the typical rural parties took place. Nowadays, it is a beautiful, comfortable and familiar structure, furnished with all modern comforts, and where kindness, politeness and cleanliness always reign. Where formerly there were only bare rocks, actually there are double rooms with bathroom, TV Sat, conditioned air; it isnt directly located on the sea, but you can reach it only in 5 minutes.
